Hi there. My name is Joan, and I guess you could say I live in a world somewhere between reality and imagination. I've always been drawn to beauty, fantasy and storytelling - and I'm always trying to express it.

Then there’s my love for making pictures — and by that, I mean everything from sketching and painting to photography and digital art. Sometimes I capture what I see around me, like the soft glow of sunlight through trees or the dramatic shadows in a quiet hallway. Other times, I draw from my imagination, creating entire scenes that feel like still frames from a dream. I think I’m always chasing moments.

Ballet has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. There’s something deeply emotional about it — the way a single movement can express an entire story without saying a word. I love the discipline and grace it takes to perfect every pirouette and plié, but even more than that, I love how it feels to lose myself in the music, to become someone else through dance, even just for a moment.

Cosplay is where I let my inner artist and performer truly shine. I’m completely obsessed with the process — from researching a character’s design to handcrafting the details of a costume. Sewing fabric, shaping armor, styling wigs — I do it all, and I get such a thrill from finally stepping into the full costume, looking in the mirror, and seeing a fictional character come to life.
